If you're interested in getting involved with the MRCNA 25 Planning Committee, we could really use your help. Below, you will find a brief description of purpose of each convention subcommittee. Please use the form that follows these descriptions to inform us which subcommittee(s) on which you're interested in serving. The following subcommittees are currently seeking members to serve:
Additional Needs
Provides services to addicts with disabilities, so the convention is barrier free and accessible to all.
Arts and Graphics
Responsible for designing and/or printing a convention logo, banner, convention posters, and directional posters.
Convention Information
Provides information about the convention and fundraisers to hospitals and institutions and members of the N.A. community.
Entertainment & Fundraising
This subcommittee generates interest and support for the MRCNA convention from within the fellowship of the Michigan Region, in addition to raising funds for it.
Hotels & Hospitality
Secures adequate facilities for the convention and acts as the liaison between the convention committee and the host hotel. In addition, this subcommittee will coordinate all requirements of the subcommittees with the hotel staff.
Huggers and Serenity Givers
Welcomes those attending the convention and fosters a caring atmosphere of recovery for everyone.
Merchandise
Assists with the financial success of the convention by generating revenue through the sale of commemorative convention merchandise.
Programming
Plans all the workshops, meetings, and selects main speakers and workshop speakers and chairpersons for these events.
Tickets & Registration
Organizes and implements a system of accounting for total registration/banquet/brunch sales, receives pre-registration and mail confirmations, accounts for all money received, and provides current information on above items at all times.
